It begins with a fictitious start at the Esplanade de l’Europe in Montpellier, officially arriving in Prades-le-Lez, in the northeast of Hérault, where the real adventure begins. The cyclists will cross the sublime landscapes of Hérault, Gard, and Vaucluse, for a demanding ascent of Mont Ventoux, culminating at 1,912 meters with an average gradient of 8.8% over 15.7 km. The finish is scheduled for 5:12 p.m. after a tough and thrilling race.
